The Asian region goat conference( ARCG) was held at Amity university, Jaipur in Rajasthan in October 2018, attended by 287 researchers from across the world. Rajasthan has been an arid or semi-arid climatic region of India which occupies more than 60% of landscape of the total areas making the state, as, this has left the state’s economy floundered. To combat such a precarious fiscal hygiene, the goat rearing offers bigger promises by constituting the largest share i.e. 34% among all kinds of livestock business in India. In the conference, maintaining sound health of the ruminant was greatly stressed upon. Improved market access and efficiently regulated demand and supply chain of the easily affordable business was equally given serious concern as to utilize this mechanism as a poverty alleviation plan.
